The D mesh is designed with precisely crimped wires and woven into diamond-shaped openings. The D mesh type has a more effective open area because it eliminates the straight wire found in the W mesh design.
The H mesh of self-cleaning screen mesh is made of several horizontal and parallel crimped wires. It features a herringbone pattern that offers superior sizing control compared to D mesh and W mesh by eliminating flats and elongates.
W mesh is specifically engineered and designed to reduce blinding and plugging conditions when the use of conventional square opening wire cloth is not acceptable. The W mesh screen accurately controls material sizing, managing undersized, near-sized, and oversized materials, while staying clean and remaining highly efficient.
Polyurethane bands are generally manufactured using 80-90 Shore hardness PU to withstand aggregate screening applications, offering great wear resistance and extending the screen's service life. Steel wire bands are used in applications where temperatures exceed 70 degrees, making them highly recommended for asphalt plants. These options can be utilized across all types of self-cleaning screens.
